I recently heard a Cheer Extreme athlete say "My coach is my hero". At Cheer Extreme, parents and kids are proud of their coaches. The coaches know what it takes to be a winner and also how to be a role model for parents and athletes.

Cheer Extreme Raleigh - Head Coach
Graduated from NC State University as Valedictorian in May, 2006. NCSU Park Scholar recipient. Kelly cheered at NCSU for four years, a two-time Captain and voted team MVP. All-star cheerleader for nine years. Two-time National Champion. Assistant coach and choreographer for Cheer Extreme for the past 5 years. Sister to Courtney Smith-Pope for the past 23 years :)

All-Star Assistant Coach and Tumbling Instructor
Lee cheered 2 years on the Red Team at NC State University, spending his first year as tumbling captain, and finished 5th and 2nd in the nation at both nationals appearances. In high school he cheered 1 year high-school varsity and 2 years at Star Athletics All-Stars in Boonton, NJ. During the summer Lee is also on the coaching staff at Woodward Gymnastics camp in Woodward, PA. Lee has 5 years experience in video & music editing for all-star cheer and dance teams. This is Lee's 2nd season with Cheer Extreme All-Stars. USASF Level 1-5 Certified.

Assistant Coach, Choreography and Tumbling Instructor
Jamein is one of the founding coaches of Cheer Extreme Raleigh. His talents include dance, routine design, music assembly and choreography. He coached the 05-06 Middle Creek High School Team who won the Wake County Cheerleading Championships and Cheersport Nationals. He has coached all-star cheerleading and has paticipated on several National Championship teams as an athlete. He has a 10 years of cheerleading experience.
