CEA Raleigh became our second home 3 years ago. We were new to the cheer industry and had 3 of our daughters represent the gym on different teams. One of the first things that stood out to us immediately was the owner, Kelly Helton, and her staff.  Kelly knew the name of every single athlete that walked across her door within the first week practice began. Just by watching the coaches work with the athletes, you could tell they knew what they were doing and working through a seasoned process they obviously had developed to not only get to know each Athlete but to figure out the best way to motivate and push them to be the best they can be. As a "new family" to the gym we were grateful and honored to be part of a program that not only do the coaches and staff bring out the best athletic abilities in each child, but also teaches, and in return expects, good character, discipline, honor, a strong work ethic and the meaning of family!  All life lessons for them to carry on when they move on from cheer. Now, as a "seasoned family", I am proud to be part of this gym. I believe in the people that run it, and I have faith in the staff that teach my girls lessons that far exceed how to base, or fly in a stunt group. From the fun games and awards used as motivation for the teams, the hours of hard work and determination that is given every week, or the special outings we do as a gym to bond us all, Cheer Extreme Raleigh was one of the best decisions we ever made for our girls. Family is everything. And we feel blessed to have CEA Raleigh as our extended family! ♥️
